Easy Listening in Burgundy

On Friday 21 August, residents of the Burgundy region were treated to an interesting day out at the Château Andre Ziltener near Dijon. The event, organised by AngloINFO Burgundy and Burgundy4u Immobiliers, brought together experts in the fields of tax planning and property for foreigners investing or living in France.

The event opened with a short presentation by Chris Slee of AngloINFO Burgundy, who introduced AngloINFO and explained the services provided by the site to local anglophone residents and visitors. This was followed by a very well received presentation by Robert Kent of Kentingtons Tax and Investment Consultants. Benjamin Haas, property consultant of Burgundy4U Immobiliers, followed up with a talk on the current market conditions for national and local property industry. The day was rounded off with a presentation and tasting of the Château wines, and a chance for informal networking and conversation.

Chris Slee said of the event “This was the first we planned and it was great to see everyone getting together at such a lovely venue; we'll all look forward to more events of this kind in the future."
