The Tsunami Fund

Thanks to the generosity of our members and well wishers.

The Commonwealth Club of the Riviera donated part of the funds raised by the club to victims of the Tsunami in Sri Lanka and India. The money was used to build 7 houses for families in Sri Lanka who lost their homes when the Tsunami struck and in Tamil Nadu India the money was used educational supplies for children effected by the Tsunami. The money was forwarded through the Commonwealth Countries League of which our club is an affiliated member.
