Pattaya is a short drive from Bangkok and as well as being an infamous location for tourists visiting "Walking Street", it has been increasingly attracting a more family orientated visitor. With the launch of many new international hotels and upmarket shopping malls, Pattaya is becoming more popular both with weekend visitors from Bangkok and international visitors that want to enjoy the beach and great food on offer. And with this in mind, Gavin Wills, franchisee of AngloINFO Bangkok, saw it as an obvious location for expansion, launching AngloINFO Pattaya today.

Gavin says, "AngloINFO Bangkok has been a great success and the feedback from people using it has been overwhelmingly positive. Thailand has its fair share of bureaucracy and finding accurate information has not always been easy, AngloINFO Bangkok delivers that information in a clear and accurate way". He adds: "A friend who lives in Pattaya was moaning that there wasn't a local AngloINFO and I decided to do something about it!"

The region is not only for tourists; as well as a large number of expatriate retirees, the "Eastern Seaboard" including the provinces of Chonburi and Rayong is often described as the "Detroit of the East" because of the large number of car manufacturers that export cars all over the world. There are many other international and Thai companies located on the Eastern Seaboard and many of the expatriates that work in them have made the region their home.
