Psychotherapist and Counselling Services
I work with couples who find that they are having difficulty in
relating to each other and are in conflict, or the relationship is not working
or rewarding for them. We look at the issues that brought them to see me,
whilst taking an overview of the whole relationship plus the parts that do work
well. Then focusing on the parts that work less well we discuss how this
effects the relationship and what changes they are willing to make. I invited
them to understand how they have co-created conflict and misunderstanding
through their communications or actions and I teach, and demonstrate better
ways of communication in order that they are then able to have a more balanced
interaction and healthier relationship.
I am experienced in a broad range of issues. I support clients
to understand and address their issues in order to gain a better understanding
and insight of themselves. This enables them to make well informed choices and
positive changes to enhance and gain what they want from their lives, whilst
getting therapeutic support.
I provide a confidential service. I explain this at our first
meeting and what I offer to clients. I work under the BACP guidelines.
I also offer face-to-face or online sessions.
