Welcome to our Online Shopping Guide
Just follow our five easy steps to buy online, it has never been cheaper or more convenient.
For some of us who are new to this, however, the thought of navigating the system can be daunting and confusing. So let The Algarve Freight Centre clarify the system for you and all your UK shopping requirements.
1) First make sure you have a major credit /debit card, Visa, Mastercard etc. The type with a three digit security number on the back. Some places may take Portuguese cards.
2) Select a shopping site of your choice, there are thousands (Amazon is a good starting point). For groceries we work with Asda, Waitrose and Occado. No chilled or frozen foods due to the transport time from UK to Portugal.
3) Any online shop requires you to open an account. This means supplying them with name, address and card details. On this form there will be a section on where you want your goods to be delivered. At this point fill in the following address.
The Algarve Freight Centre,
4) When your goods are in our UK warehouse they are signed for, then kept safe and secure before being loaded on our own truck. With an all English staff we are able to oversee every part of the procedure. The truck leaves the UK base every Friday and arrives in the Algarve depot (Almancil) on Monday afternoon.
It will then be possible for you to collect your goods from Tuesday. An option of delivery anywhere in the Algarve is possible at an extra cost.
5) Price and costing
The minimum price starts at €6.90 for small box - size of a large book for example. The more goods you purchase, the cheaper our service will be.
