Capital gains tax

Does anybody know if you sell your only property in Portugal and move to another Eu country, that you have to pay capital gains tax of 28% on any gains?

When moving to another EU country you have 2 years to re-invest again. If you don't do that, you're due capital gains tax.

Yes thank you for your reply, someone else said three years, but is that only for residents?

Yes, you are right, it's 3 years.  Here's an article which is quite informative: https://www.blevinsfranks.com/news/blevinsfranks/article/portuguese-capital-gains-tax-portugal
