My yahoo group Freecycle Granada has just been given permission to open up for membership. If you would like information on Freecycle please check http://www.freecycle.orgBut briefly - Granada España Freecycle® group is open to all who want to "recycle" items they no longer need, rather than throw them away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, you can offer it on our group. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are also welcome to participate! One main rule: everything posted must be free. This group is part of The Freecycle Network, a nonprofit organization and a movement of people interested in keeping good stuff out of landfills. We will be covering Granada [and until another group opens Almeria too if required]. The site is in English and Spanish. If you would like to join please go to http://es.groups.yahoo.com/group/GranadaFreecycle/Help us spread the word!
I am having problems with hearing and have had my ears syringed a couple of times in the last two years, now the doc says they need doing again, however I would like to try another method I have heard of (no don't laugh ) Its called Hopi candling I think any ideas where I can get info and equipment. I would never have believed what a problem it could be and shall always be more understanding to the deaf now.
I have just read up on Aguadulce and thought I would share my findings. There is a local bus service from Roquetas thats is very cheap and leaves from outside the Sabinal Hotel by the mini train. Beautiful shallow waters, perfect for snorkelling and blue flag beaches. Its sounds perfect for all ages, and would make a pleasant outing for a change for all the family. We will be in that area later this week so I´ll report back.
