Apparently you can buy them whilst stocks last, after that no. They are also thiking of briging in the same rule for a number of other electrical items including - of all things - hairdryers.
It puzzles me why you can't, if you want to, use as much electricty as you can possibly pay for. I wonder how many of these Eurocrats have spent their summer hols in the South of France, Greece, Spain, Italy or Portugal running an a/c unit all day every day?

Yes, the Daily Express reports today that the British Way of Life is doomed, as kettles are to be downgraded, so it will presumably take longer to make a cup of tea LOL
