I understand in a very hot and humid climate that you need to have more salt and sugar because of the amount you perspire, but how much is too much?
Not sure about sugar but more salt in your diet is required, although if you eat much Thai food you'll easily get more than enough as they use a lot of salt (and sugar) while cooking.
Interesting to know if the Thai government actually produces a table for recommended maximum amounts ... I couldn't find anything.
Thats what I'm looking for, an actual amount of recommended intake. I do know these things are only a guideline, but there must be a difference between a very hot climate and a cool one.
