Minimum cover for health insurance

I need to buy health insurance but I'm not sure what figure I should use as the minimum amount of coverage required. Touch wood ... I'm fit and healthy so far, in my early 50s and don't want to pay over the odds. What would people suggest?

If you don't think you'll be using the insurance much, but want cover for those very expensive emergencies, then you should get a policy with a large deductible. You can choose how much deductible you want, the policy is cheap, but you can have $1 Million + coverage.

I didn't even know you could do that. Maybe next year as i used AXA this time.
