Apache fiddle (violin)
Replica Apache fiddle made from the hard shell of the agave flower stalk. That is the "century plant" or "pita" that lives for 15-20 years the pushes up a huge flower stalk the dies off. The Apaches called it the "wood that sings" and made these one-string rhythm fiddles to accompany their romantic courting songs. This fiddle comes with a folk-type bow treated with pine resin.
