Trees of BA: The Paraíso

The Paraíso (Melia azedarach, chinaberry, bead-tree) is one of the most popular trees in Buenos Aires, providing ample shade due to its height (8-15 metres) and width of its canopy (4-8 metres). Its yellow fruit which we find lying on the ground often is poisonous for humans.
