The Cypriot economy grew by 3.9% in the third quarter of 2017 according to the Statistical Service of Cyprus. The report states that GDP growth rate during the third quarter of 2017 is estimated at 3.8% over the corresponding quarter of 2016. Further, the Index of Industrial Production for January- September 2017 recorded an increase of 7.1% in comparison to the corresponding period of the previous year.
These numbers represent yet another sign that the Cypriot economy is improving and the economy is growing. The increase in GDP is linked to the growth and performance of the retail, construction, hotel, trade and other sectors of the economy.
