The India Week Hamburg 2013 will host an array of business events to showcase opportunities of bilateral cooperation with India. The organizers – the Senate Chancellery of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg among them – are currently preparing the detailed programme which will be published soon.
The festival takes place from September 7 to 15 and includes nine spectacular days of events featuring creative programs promoting traditional and contemporary Indian arts and culture, business, education and politics.
From the Indian Jazz Night-Series ’Cross over Cultures‘ at Fabrik Hamburg to an Indian Food Festival at Hotel Park Hyatt the India Week Hamburg 2013 truly has something for everyone: The visitor awaits a vast array of cultural and entertaining offerings all across the city – old Indian movies in Metropolis Cinema, Indian dance, music and theatre for the entire family at Hamburg‘s KinderKinder Festival, inspiring photo exhibitions, current discussions about trade relations between Hamburg and India or talks on renewable energies, urban planning and smart city design.
The event is organized by the Senate Chancellery of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the Ministry of Culture, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the HWF Hamburg Business Development Corporation as well as the German Indian Round Table Hamburg (GIRT), in close cooperation with the Consulate General of India, Hamburg.
