Expect deals to be in place already, in fact many were at the beginning of November. However, some online retailers will carry over special Black Friday deals and some will release new ones for Monday 27 November. According to TechRadar, Cyber Monday discounts tend to be across the board rather than Black Friday’s product categories.

Each year the number of sales during the 4-day shopping bonanza has risen. Cyber Monday sales in the US in 2016 set an all-time record of US$3.45 billion, according to Adobe Digital Insights. With retailers making more and smarter offers, and shoppers finding ways to get really good deals, saving themselves lots of money, Cyber Monday is a win-win event.

Here are some ways to help you secure the best Cyber Monday deals

Sign up for an Amazon account

Yep it’s big enough to warrant its own category. Since 17 November, the online giant has been running “30 Days of Deals” – it’s worth a look but deals do go fast. Sign up for an account now and get all your payment and delivery info set up before the big day.

Do get the hump!

If you’re frequently scouting Amazon, CamelCamelCamel is another winner and price-tracks all Amazon products and price history. You can also customize for specific price watches and price drop alerts.

Sweet success?

If you’re buying from US-based companies, it’s worth adding the browser extension called Honey. It applies the best promotion codes at checkout, so saves you lots of time and angst.

Find the deals now

Don’t wait for the cyber doors to open to check out which products you want to buy, find the items now, register for an account and even pop the item in the shopping basket. You’ll be able to add the Cyber Monday promo offer on Monday, or it might be applied automatically for you.
