Reviewing 2013, let’s remember some notable events:

  1. Boeing 787 Dreamliner grounded from 16 January to 19 April.
  2. Boston Marathon bombings on 15 April.
  3. Royal Baby born on 22 July.
  4. Tokyo awarded 2020 Summer Olympics on 07 September.

Looking forward to 2014

We are anxiously awaiting to see the continuing effect of Abenomics here in Japan. How will Japan’s economy react to the sales tax increase from 5% to 8% scheduled to begin April 2014? Also, we expect to see construction beginning for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Did we omit any past or future events? If so, please email us at and we will be happy to edit this blog for everyone to enjoy.

From The AngloINFO Tokyo Staff, we wish You and Your Family Success, Good Health & Prosperity in 2014.

All The Best…Sincerely,
