Sayonara 2014…Happy New Year 2015

3…2…1…2015 is here!

Last year was another very successful year for us here at AngloINFO. We currently serve Expats in 90 cities and 43 countries Worldwide. Our current Worldwide Network can be viewed by clicking here >>

In Tokyo, we provide local, relevant content including upcoming EventsClassifieds, Tokyo Apartments for Rent, Jobs in Japan, and a Handy Guide to English Speaking Companies in Tokyo. All in English language and ALL of our content is FREE to access. Throughout 2014, our page views have grown at least 50% every month. We currently experience more than 250,000 page views per month.

We offer a FREE weekly newsletter that is sent out every Monday morning. It is full of useful information for Expats living in Tokyo and Japan. Please click here to register your email address on the right hand side.

In addition, we are currently expanding our English speaking Business Directory. If your company isn’t listed yet, please click here to submit your company information. There is no fee to submit your company information.

Reviewing 2014, let’s remember some notable events:

  1. Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia from Feb 7 to 23.
  2. Malaysian Airlines 370 (Boeing 777) Disappeared on March 8.
  3. Malaysian Airlines 17 (Boeing 777) Shot Down while flying over the Ukraine on July 17.
  4. Actor Robin Williams committed suicide on August 11.
  5. Prime Minister Abe-san was re-elected on December 14.

And Looking forward to 2015

We are anxiously awaiting to see the continuing effect of Abenomics here in Japan. How will Japan’s economy react to the arrows of reform. Also, we expect to see construction beginning around the city for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Here’s a sneak peek into some of the Planned Developments for AngloINFO 2015:

  • BRAND NEW website re-design
  • New launch and growth of AngloINFO Jobs channel
  • New launch of AngloINFO Meetup Group

From The AngloINFO Tokyo Staff, we wish You and Your Family Success, Good Health & Prosperity in 2015.

As for New Year Resolutions, please remember this popular saying >> “It’s better to try and fail rather than not try at all”
