When my husband was invited to work on a project in The Netherlands for three years we jumped at the idea of experiencing living in another country for a short while. That was over 25 years ago! No, my husband is not a slow worker. The project was completed on time and he was offered another project, then another, then another; you get the picture. His work has also taken us to live temporarily in America but for more than 25 years we have called The Netherlands our home.

Although living in the outskirts of Rotterdam, Rotterdam is “my” town. It’s where I go to meet friends, shop, visit the cinema etc.  It’s where I feel “comfortable”.
