Arboretum du Poërop et jardin de l'Argoat
Situated at 55 rue des Cieux. One of the most important botanical gardens in Brittany, with trees and bushes from five continents and more than 3,000 varieties. Closed bank holidays.
Chateau de Suscinio
Botanical garden in the grounds of the chateau. Open January, November, December daily from 10:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 17:00;Febraury, March and October 10:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 18:00;April to September every day 10:00 - 19:00. Based at Ploujean (29).
Le Parc Botanique de Cornouaille
Botanical gardens with 4 hectares of land anfd over 3,500 plant species including japanese and Indian varietes. Plants for sale. Open daily from March to late November. At Combrit, Pont lAbbe.
The Claude-Goude Park
It is a public park, situated on the headland of Pen al Lann, Carantec (29). Open all year round and hosting remarkable tree species. A treasure hunt for children is available from the Tourist Information Centre.
Abbaye de Daoulas
This Abbey is located South of Brest. Its architecture bears witness to its past, with an oratory, fountain and Romanesque cloister. There is also a 4 hectare medicinal plant garden and Renaissance Monastery gardens. Based at 21 rue de lEglise BP
The Eotic Garden: Finistere
3000 species of sub-tropical plants, an 18m-high rock offering a panoramic view of the Bay of Morlaix, waterfalls and ponds hosting tortoises, planted out with cactus, rockeries, agaves and aloes. Open all year round except in December - February.
