Musee des Beaux-Arts de Brest
Showing late 16th to 20th century paintings. Italian and French schools. Symbolist and Nabi art collections. Pont-Aven school seascapes. Open every day except Monday and Sunday mornings - open 14th July and 15th August. Based at 24 rue Traverse (29)
Musee de lecole rurale en Bretagne
This old school was built at the start of the 20th century at the foot of Menez-Ham and the gates of the Crozon peninsula and now shows the world of schoolchildren and teachers through various objects, documents and tableaux.
Maison de Mineraux
Situated at Route du Cap de la Chevre, Saint Hernot (29). An original discovery of Brittany through landscapes, its rocks and its minerals (the largest collection in Europe). Open all year.
Auberge Expo du Youdig
Located at Kerveguenet, Brennilis (29). Gite accommodation, restaurant serving traditional food and a museum made up of a miniature village. Numerous activities throughout the year.
Musee des Beaux-Arts de Pont-Aven
Dedicated to the painters who made Pont-Aven famous. Gauguin, Bernard, Seusier etc. Based at Place de lHotel de Ville.
Musee de la Peche
Fishing museum showing the history and technique of fishing throughout the world. 1,500m square display space. At 3 rue Vauban, Ville Close, Concarneau.

Musee Memorial Fort Montbarey De Brest
Located at allee Bir-Hakeim, Brest (29). This museum traces the history of the people of Finistere during the Second World War. Open Monday to Friday 09:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 18:00.
Port Musee
Located at Place de lEnfer, Douarnenez (29). Open all year round. Discover two museums dedicated to boat people of the past and present day.
Musee de la Fraise et du Patrimoine
Relates the traditions of the Plougastel-daoulas dar: strawberry growing, religious habits, sea activites, costume evolution. Activities in July/August. Located at 12 rue Louis Nicolle, Brest (29).
Abbaye du Relec
In 1132, a community of Citercian monks founded the Abbey of Relec in the heart of the Monks dArree. Only the Abbey church, the ruins of the cloister and the gardens remain today. Exhibition and events are organised throughout the year.
Chateau de Kergroadez
Located near Brest and built by the Marquis de Kergroadez, this early 17th-century castle shows the defensive architecture of the Renaissance in Brittany. Visit the grounds and enjoy numerous events put on throughout the year.
Musee de lancienne Abbaye de Landevennec
Visit the Carolingian remains - cloister, sarcophagus etc, the archaeological site and its museum tell the story of this monastic ensemble, which has been part of Breton history since the 6th century.
Musee Departemental Breton
Located at 1 r Roi Gradlon, Quimper (29). Open all year including Sundays.
Ecomusee de Plouguerneau et du Pays Pagan
The Seaweed gathers museum. Tours of the lle Vierge lighthouse, events and activities all year round. Open out of season by reservation, from 16th June - 30th September 14:00 - 18:00. Based at Route de Kerveogan.

Situated at Fort Kerbonn, BP 44, Camaret-Sur-Mer (29).
Abbaye de Daoulas
Located at 21 rue de lEglise, Daoulas (29). Of this ancient abbey there remains the church and the Roman monastery and numerous pieces of Breton art of the x and xvI century. Open from end of March to beginning of January every year.
The Montbarey Memorial
Based at Allee Bir-Hakeim, Route du Conquet, Brest (29). The museum has 5 main rooms including artillery workshop and quarters and an exhibition. Closed at the weekends.
Marine Nationale Base Navale de Brest
A defense work built at the time of Louis XVI. World War 11 museum. Located at Allee bir-hakeim, route du Conquet.

Musee du Loup
Located at 1 rue du Calvaire, Thegonnec (29). Discover more about the wolf through different themes; biology, history, myths and legends. Open Sunday from March to mid December from 14:00 - 18:00 and every day in July and August.
Nature Reserve of Île-Molène

Musee YanDargent
YanDargent was born in Saint-Servais in 1824 and buried in 1899 and his work is preserved along with memories of his life. This museum displays his paintings, engravings and illustrated books.

Maison des Jeux Bretons
Situated at Plassen Michel et Josephine Cosquer, Saint Jean Trolimon (29). Learn about games played in a by gone era by young Bretons.
Musee National de la Marine - Brest
The museum is housed in Tour Madelaine, Portail Paradis and its imposing keep. It features collections that trace the history of the navy and its close ties with the town.

The Saint-Pierre Church
Built in 1734 and one of the oldest monuments in Plouneour-Trez (29). Surrounded by chapels and crosses, the monument is known for its stained glass windows. One of the chapels is now used as a museum housing local history.
Ferme-Musee du Leon
Situated at Queran, Treflaouenan (29). Old Leon area thatched house and collection of agricultural implements. Guided tour and traditional activities.
Le Port-Musee
The museum shows boats and seafaring societies in Europe, Aficia and also within the Pacific Ocean. Free audio-guide in English. Closed for Christmas (29).
Musee de la Tour Tanguy
Built in the 14th century oppsite the castle, the Tanguy tower relates the history of Brest from the middle ages up to the eve of the second world war. Located at Square Pierre Peron, Brest (29).
Musee du Leon
Located at 12 rue de la Marne, Lesneven (29). Museum of popular arts and traditions.
Manoir de Kernault
A listed historical monument built in the 15th century. There is a 16th century intendants house, 17th century timber - framed loft, 18th century decor in the lords room, private chapel and fish-pond. There are guided tours and childrens event

Musee de la Fraise et du Patrimoine
This museum tells the story of the strawberry presented through over 60 costumed figures, furniture and paintings at 21 rue Louis Nicolle.
Ecomusee des Monts dArree
A former milling village with architectural character built between the 17th and 20th Centuries:15 buildings including watermills, a traditionally furnished 19th century house, bakehouses, farm outbuildings, a tannery and exhibition rooms.
