Does anyone have a wonderful SANGRIA recipe that I can make for a party on Saturday? All versions welcome! For about 35 people
Sliece the orange and lemon, put them in your serving bowl, sprinkle the sugar over them and then pour the brandy over them. Chill for a couple of hours. When ready to serve, lightly crush the fruit pieces then pour the (well chilled) wine and orange juice over them.
Optionally (purists will hate this, but the drink becomes less physical...) add soda water, sparking mineral water or lemonade to taste - though you may want to use less sugar if you're using lemonade.
So for 35 people, just multiply all the above quantities by 70.
