Hi everyone,We're exploring options for internet access in rural Brittany. The 4G signal round us is pretty good, so one of the options is a 4G wifi router using the Free Internet 4G 100Gb simcard. However, the advert says that the bandwidth is reduced if you don't use put the Simcard in a Freebox (which we don't need because we don't have a landline). Does anyone have any experience with how much the bandwidth is reduced?I need a solution that will allow video conferencing and almost constant use of cloud services like G-suite and Office 365.Many thanks,Mark

Hi, I am new to this as we are just buying our first home in France next week.  Wanted to know if anyone has any experience of hiring a van from one of the supermarket chains. We want to hire one for a few days to make a trip back to U.K. to collect some of our belongings, but not sure if they allow you to take it out of France. Can anyone help please?

Am looking to replace my decking boards very soon. Can anyone recommend a supplier, within 50km of Moncontour that specialises in these products? I'm not impressed with Leroy and although I've seen one good board at a reasonable price at Brico, I really would like to have a good choice at a fair price. Not interested in on-line companies as I would like to look at what I'm getting.CheersAlan

Hello. I am doing my head in here because French glass companies keep telling me you cannot order a double glazing unit manufactured with a hole in it for a dog door. I did this in the UK. Does anyone know what the issue is? Regulations?

Hi, My mothers Air source Heat pump which is only 3 years old has sprung a leak and is leaking refridgeration gas, she is 91 years old and we have had to turn the heating off. Over the past four days I have called so many companies to come and have a look at it but because it is not one of their own brands they will not come out, I have tried service companies, everyone who claims they will come out, refridgeration companies, installers, you name it I have called it.   Does anyone know of anyone who is qualified to replace refrigeration gas and is happy to come out to Le Ferre' near Fougeres (35) and not be bothered that the pump is not designer!!   Yours desperately..

I notice a number of threads about the full awfulness of Teleconnect.  We have now joined Orange - much cheaper, technically better and offering an English language tech service.  Teleconnect was very expensive, and broke down all the time.  I am however having great difficulty in ending the contract. I had to give a full calendar month's notice of leaving, by registered mail. I did so, but it seems the letter took more than a week to arrive so I had to pay in January for a service that stopped in mid-November. I am now being charged in February for not returning a modem when (a) I have proof-of-posting that I did return it and (b) other media companies (eg Sky) aren't bothered about old tackle.  My advice - don't touch with a barge-pole.
