Does anyone know where there is a stand up comedy club? I would think with all the English speakers here it would be a great idea.

I know it's a bit sad to type that as a title, However I'm a 32 year old femal expat (from the UK) who works in an office with no other expats.  Very few of them live in Brussels and don't do much during the week.  Are there any things people would suggest to find other people out there?  Book clubs, social groups?? Open to suggestions...

I arrived in Brussels quite recently and my new work colleagues ask me to decide on a fun idea for a night out, so that they can all get to know me better. They have chosen a restaurant and I kind of like the idea of a trip to a kareoke place afterwards...Is there even such a thing here in the city?

Are there any other expat women who would like to set up a regular clothes swap party? Books and other items could also be swapped and we could give whatever is left over to charity?

Hello! I am planning to do a small bday party for my boyfriend in Brussels, no more than 7 people. Can anyone suggest a nice place to celebrate and where they can do also a bday cake? I live in Ixelles but the location of the place is not a problem. Thanks!

I have always wanted to try oriental dancing. I have seen a few adverts for classes but I'd like a personal recommendation to find one which doesn't take itself too seriously. Any suggestions? I'm i Ixelles but I can travel.

I used to love doing jigsaws and fancy getting hold of some as a way to pass time in the evenings. Can anyone think of somewhere that might sell 2nd hand puzzles?

Just wondering if there is a love film equivalent in Belgium to get DVDs posted or is there a rental shop for movies?

Hi All, Recently moved to Brussels for a short term business assignment and looking for something to do outside of work.  Took some sketching and illustration classes in college and just thinking that this might be a fun activity to pick up again. Does anyone know of any English speaking sketching, illustration, and art classes in a beginning to intermediate level being offered in Brussels?  Or perhaps where would be a good place to look?   Did some internet searching and didn't really find anything. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone heard of a good old traditional Christmas panto set to be staged in Brussels? I don't even know if Belgians go in for these but I'd love to take the kids to one!
