Hi, We just moved to Brussels, and I am looking for a nanny who could take care of my 4 1/2 baby during the day and pick-up her older sister after school. If you would like to refer anybody...or any tips that could help me will be appreciated.Any idea on shared nanny too???Thanks a lot, alix
Hi, I'm a mum to 2 boys aged 3 and 5, living in Tervuren (near Vossem). My husband's colleague and his wife have done some babysitting for us a couple of times but occasionally, they get invited to the same functions as us, and my husband has either had to go on his own or we've both opted not to go because we didn't know who to call on to babysit. The school which the boys attend has a list of teenage babysitters but I feel a bit uncomfortable having to call on them, not to mention, I'm thinking it's not exactly cheap either. So, I'm wondering if there are mums out there who will be interested in doing a babysitting exchange with me. For a start, I've got a function coming up on the 18 Dec. If anyone is interested in babysitting for us, then I hope to reciprocate in the future. I can't drive so I will need transport unless I can get to you on the DeLijn bus. So, if there is anyone interested, please let me know. Thanks.
I am mature, experienced former nanny, with almost 10 years of experiences in childcare. I looked after school aged children, toddlers as well as newborn babies, full time, sole charge. I have experiences with nanny sharing, potty training, children with disabilities (autism/ difficult behaviour), twins. The highest number of children I am willing to look after at the same time is four. I can swim and cook, I am non smoker and I do not drive. I have verifiable references, available upon your request. I am looking for the evening babysitting position, and / or some weekend helping in Brussels area, from October 2008. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you
