Hi everyone. I am considering opening an English style tea room in Brussels centre. As residents, do you think this style of place would go down well?
I think it's a great idea...thought about it myself a few years' ago, but you must be prepared for lots of work.. also, you must choose the right area. Lots of thoroughfare..that is, lots of people passing by..
Also, I hope you have a good accountant. You need to get all your books in order before starting up, and for that, you need a good accountant...
I remember about +/- 10 years' ago when there was no GB Quick nor McDonalds, and now, you can see one on every corner, so go for it, but just be realistic and above all, I hope your teas are good-great tasting scones, cakes, etc. ...when you are fully operational, please let me have your address, and I'll be delighted to come for a tea...
Thanks for your suggestions. DO you happen to know any good accountants I could contact for advice?
I also think it's a good idea. I can see a trend for nice cosy places where to get tea, coffee and some good cookies. I think people would definitely go in an English style tea room. Maybe you could also sell tea too, this would increase the number of people visiting your shop.
Good luck with your project! :) and let us know when we can visit your tea room !
