Hi, Is there anyone interested in starting Spanish-English language exchange in Redovan (near Orihuela - Callosa de Segura)? We´re a small private English school and we´re looking for native speakers who would like to exchange language with our intermediate students. We would provide our installations which can accomodate around 16 people. Many thanks in advance Marcio
Driving down Saturday morning we stopped our UK registered MB at Benicarlo Services (junction 43). After returning to the car we had a white Honda CRX 2 door hatch back parked alongside with 4 lads drinking coffee. Thought nothing of it and rejoined the Autopiste travelling South towards Valencia. Within a few minutes my tyre monitor showed the offside rear as punctured. Fortunately, up ahead was a police wagon and I accelerated past him and signalled him to stop. The tyre had been spiked through the sidewall. The police confirmed they were having lots of problems and shortly afterwards a police helicopter headed in the direction of the page at J. 44. it took 4 hours for a recovery tow truck and €270 for 2 matching tyres. Luckily, we were safe and foiled their attempted robbery, but not a nice experience. When we reached Calpe our estate agent who has Italian number plates told us that his car got spiked at Villajahosa recently. maybe, run flats would be a worthwhile investment!
Hi, we are looking to rent a furnished appartment or villa for 2 maybe 3 months from the middle of next January. 2 adults and 1 small friendly and clean dog. Anything considered. Near the sea would be great but it isn`t a priority as we have our own transport. Either reply here or PM me.Thank you
Very good friends of ours from France are spending three weeks in February in Denia. Their accommodation is already organized. We are looking for in the North Costa Blanca area a very good apartment so we can spend one week with them before they return to France. There are just two of us and hopefully with the apartment on the lower floors for I suffer unfortunately with an absolutely dislike of lifts. - Sorry. We know Javea and the like and thus not strangers to the area. Javea or Denia would be perfect. best wishes for the New Year.
I am travelling soon to the Alicante – Denia area to look for a property to buy. I will be travelling in my small camper-van and need somewhere to park up safely and use as a base for my search. Is there anyone wanting some extra money? I am willing to pay a parking fee if you would allow me to park at your property. I am a retired lady – honest and decent! I have been living in France but have now sold my house and hope to move to Spain. Any suggestions – help for parking up – please contact me - thanks.

Hola. My wife and I are looking for a house to rent near San Pedro marina for two or three weeks. We usually rent in and around El Mojon but have been let down at the last minute. We have a boat in the marina and usually stay on board in the summer. Any thoughts, ideas or offers gratefully accepted. Many thanks.
I'm finding Google useless at locating companies in the Alicante to Denia area that supply and install fibreglass pools - can anybody who has had one installed give me a company recommendation please or just the benefit of their experience of this, good or bad. Thanks. Mike

We have just signed for a new property with a view to spending more time over here come next year. Now i know the area has a lot of Spanish (i have no issues- it is their county), but are there many Brits around this area? Would be nice to meet up once weree settled, and get to make friends... my husband is 53 and im in my thirties, we like cheese, wine, and good fun. I think weve made the right choice with our area selection
