Hello. I'm looking to speak to people who have made the decision to leave the UK and move abroad for a potential documentary. At the moment it is just in the research phase so I'm just looking to talk to some people and find out more about the reasons they might move. Thanks and all the best, Ellie Gibbs firstname.lastname@example.org 020 7598 7209
I was thinking about all the different festivals that go on around Spain in the summer and how fab it would be to go and visit some of them. I have been to Carnival in Sitges and I'd recommend it, a real lively experience, very lively indeed. I've always thought that the tomatina looks like a lot of fun, if messy, its on my bucket list. What about you guys, what festivals have you been to or would you like to go.
Last night I watched a DVD of the film Romasanta (Werewolf Hunt). It is set in Spain during the 1800s and is apparently inspired by the case of "spain's first serial killer". Its an enjoyable film with some great acting, something a bit different from your usual horror movies - in fact, I'd say you don't have to be a horror fan to enjoy it. Have any of you seen it and what did you think? Also would be happy to hear if anyone had some more recommendations of Spanish films for me.
Since I've been asedk several times by friends, I am offering a tour at the Dalí's Museum next 8th December, that is a holiday, in the morning. Just in case anyone is interested or know about anyone that could be. I know many have been in the museum although it changes completely when things are explained. nik
Have just been reading about Begur's Indianos festival and have to say it looks like a fun event. Its annual so I guess some of you may have been before? Does anyone know whether there is a schedule of events available in english? I'm really hoping that my work is going to fit around it so I can go along and see whats on.
Since we bought our Plug in and Play TV box from the Moviestar in English website it has been plugged in but has never played. The soft ware seems corrupt. I have tried requesting technical support from 1002 in Spanish and 1004 in English on a number of occasions. The moviestar support people know nithing about the android box. On Saturday I was sent by one of them with the box to a moviestar shop. They didn't want to know as they said it was the first time they had seen the MX box and wouldn't have anything to do with it. We now have a box that we paid €175 euros for that does nothing, that no one wants to know about and apparently can't get technical support for despite it being advertised as having technical support in English on the advertisement selling them still. I have emailed the support email on the webpage and as they say ....still waiting... Anyone have any ideas PLEASE ?
I have just discovered how to get BBC iPlayer and ITV Player here in Spain without big complications. You need to have Firefox brouser and download a Firefox extension called anonymox. It's just a few clicks and we have catchup on all the favourites. The BBC is the simplest and for ITV you have to register with your email and you have to put a UK postcode. I'm not a geek but as I understand it your IP address becomes hidden and you get the iPlayer.I also found a small problem with the ITV one. It has about a minute of adverts before it starts. I get a lot of buffering on this part so it takes about 2 or 3 minutes but after that the programmes come through OK. I think it is better than Filmon because we like to watch TV on Saturday and Sunday so now with catchup we can have some good viewing.Anybody reading my previous posts will know I'm Scottish so the important part is that the extension is free!!!

I enjoy listening to a few BBC radio programs but the last couple of days I keep getting a message saying "content not available". Does anyone know what this is all about? I saw the other posting about the satellite issues people are having but online content doesn't come through satellite - so whats going on?
