Wondering if any AI readers enjoy geocaching? My family and I went Geocaching yesterday(it was my first attempt!) and found 3 geocaches(in Blanca and Ricote)- the fourth, near Ojos evaded us, but we'll be going back on a cooler day. Would love to make contact with people in the area who are into this hobby!

For all cycling enthusiasts (and many others) the Vuelta a España arrives at the end of the 5th stage in Lorca on the 1 September. Stage 6 departs Caravaca de la Cruz heading to Murcia on the 2 September and stage 7 departs Murcia heading to Orihuela on the 3 September. The Vuelta Ciclista a España (Cycling Tour of Spain) is a grueling professional cycling race that takes place across Spain in daily stages over three weeks. It is considered one of the three Grand Tours in cycling, along with the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia. For all sailing enthusiasts (and many others) the Audi Med Cup arrived in Cartagena this week and the "village" is open to the public to allow a closer look at the boats and teams, access is free. The ADAPT Out and About group are taking a coach trip to Caravaca de la Cruz on Thursday 29th April 2010 for a guided tour of the Museum of the Vera Cruz, Basilica and the Fiesta Museum. There are 8 places left for the trip which is priced at €15 per person (includes coach and entry to museums) for anyone that is interested. The coach will depart from the lay-by at Avenida de las Salinas, San Pedro del Pinatar at 8.30am sharp taking approximately 1hr 50mins. Once we arrive in Caravaca, there is a 10-15 min walk, uphill with quite a lot of steps to meet our guide at the Museum of the Vera Cruz. The tour ends at the Fiesta Museum at approximately 2pm when the museum closes. You can then get something to eat at one of the local bars / restaurants or if you prefer, you can bring your own lunch. The coach will depart Caravaca at 4pm (please ensure you are back on the coach on time).
