Hi, does anyone out there know where I can buy all the equipment I will need for when I have had my hip op. I know I can get everything from Amazon but they will charge too much for postage. If there is anyone out there who has had this proceedure in Spain I would like to chat with you.

Hi, I have had a hip replacement, and also a dislocation of the prosthetic hip, something that I wasn't told could happen,  I found that I didn't nee too much in the away  of equipment, a toilet seat, available  from any farracial on a short order, crutches, not supplied by hospital, but again easily available from farracial walking stick, and my husband eventually put a grab handle in the bath. Also a grab stick is useful. Mine was a gift from the uk though.sorry reading through  predictive won't accept Spanish words always, so the odd one is chemist ! Let me know if you want any more info. Spanish system seems much better than uk, as I had a month of physio after, being collected every day, whilst in the uk none seems to be offered.

Dear Sir/ Madame,

I have just seen your message. Those requiered materials - crutches, helpng hand, long leg stockings - wouold be available in any spanish famarcia with an attached ortopedia shop. If an aprpriate post- operative rehabilitation program has been aplied none of the above material should be needed.
