CY Driver's Licence - When do you need to obtain a CY licence (and how long can you drive in Cyprus using a UK Driver's Licence?) Thanks

If you are resident in Cyprus and from an EU Country:
1) You can drive on your FULL domestic EU licence until it expires.
Providing:
a) the licence was issued by an EU member state,
b) it is valid,
c) you have reached the minimum ages applicable in Cyprus.
You cannot change the address on your EU licence to one outside
the issuing country. It is accepted within the rules that the address
will be from the issuing country and will not be current.
2) You may exchange your EU licence for a Cyprus driving licence, which is exchanged on a like for like basis.
If your licence is in a language other than Greek or English you have
to supply a certified translation. This must be done by the Embassy of
your Country or the Cyprus Press and Information Office.

Hi Nigel - thank you very much for letting me know. Licence was issued in the UK. I would rather keep my UK Licence as I am back and forth a lot.
So I hope I can just keep my UK Licence?
Thank you and Best Wishes.

If it's an EU licence - plastic credit card size with the EU flag at the top left - no problem at the moment.
But what will happen at BREXIT is anyone's guess.

Thank you Shanber.... Yes, I will do that eventually, if I am not back in the UK by then!
Best wishes to you,
