Hi everyone,It's that time where we need to send our almost 3 year old girl to nursery, however it is looking harder than it should be to find an English or Greek/English nursery in the mentioned area. Does anyone have any recommendations or even an idea if there is a such nursery nearby? Any information will be very much appreciated.
Hey, Hopefully I am posting this in the right forum as I am new to Angloinfo :)We are looking to relocate to Cyprus from the UK next year and have a 2 and 3 year old...Do you have any recommendations for Primary Schools in the Paphos area that would welcome English children? Ideally these would be 'state' schools and therefore not cost, but would this therefore mean that my children wouldn't fit in, etc, or benefit from English-speaking teachers/friends?Appreciate moving to Cyprus so young they will hopefully be able to learn the Greek language, but to begin with they would definitely need an 'English presence'.Anybody with any advice/contacts would be greatly appreciated. I have quite a few more questions around work and property, but feel the education (kids) needs to be settled on first...Thanks,Howard
Hi all, just to let you know that I 've found a very good greek tutor. I know that many of you are thinking of having greek lessons in order to learn the local language. So I thought that I might help by letting you know. She is very good in her job and she uses very helpul materials. She is flexible with the hours and the cost for the lessons very sensible. If anyone interested her phone number is 99331702. Paphos area.

We are a Russian/Cypriot family living in Limassol. Our two kids, 8 yo (twins) attend Foley`s School. I am looking for a private tutor, an english speaker, who will assist and control the completion of all of their homework and talk to us about the needs of our kids academically if they are behind in certain areas of their study. We are looking for someone to work approximately 2-3 hours a day, Monday to Friday (from around 2pm-5pm) I have been trying to find a suitable candidate for quite some time but not sure where to look for. May be you know someone or know of websites where I could find a good tutor? I would appreciate any advice. Kind Regards, Olga
