can anyone please tell me which is the best way to get rid of calcium in the toilet basin
Hard water is a big problem here. I find vinegar is great for things like shower heads, taps and kettles. Toilet bowls, due to the shape and gravity is a bit tricky. I'd soak some kitchen towel in vinegar and place over marks for an hour and then give it a good scrub. Or use fine sandpaper. Hope this helps.
Hydrochloric acid works really well , avaialble from DIY shops about 2 euros .
soak a wad of tissue and stick it on the bowl , leave as long as possible .
Does not burn skin , but will mark worktop and stainless steel .
Cleans all calcium deposits and rust too .
Lime scale remover or Hydrochloric. Never Sandpaper, you could cut into the enamel
