We intend to drive from the CZ with our puppy to the South of Cyprus and need information on the quickest vehicle/ pet ferry (due to the pup)could anyone help us with some actual information.Thanks,Kim.
Check out Grimaldi - they advertise weekly car ferry from Salerno.
Thank you Nigel,
I have checked it out, but unfortunately the ferry company don't allow animals.
I don't think there are any other passenger ferries. There used to be an irregular service from Piraeus in Greece, but now it's only for freight.
It looks as if you'll have to fly with your pet and send your vehicle by ferry.
Hi. As far as I am aware the only ferry available that carries cars, passengers and dogs is daily from Turkey to Kyrenia but they won't let you bring the dog into the south.
If you fly from mainland EU to Cyprus with a dog and carrier under 8Kg the dog can travel with you in the cabin for around €40 - €50. Not from UK.
That seems to be the only way Bill
Kim will need to ensure that her puppy complies with the Cyprus Pet Passport & Import Regulations.
