Sorry FolksHad to cancel tomorrows Goudi walk. We have had torrential thunder, lightning and rain for the past 4-5 days in the Polis/Goudi area. Although the weather forecast for tomorrow could be dry, the temperature is set to drop significantly. Presently the state of the roads/tracks we will be walking on are muddy/treacherous in places and in the interests of our walkers safety it has been decided to postpone this walk until next week. Cindy and Mike will lead the same walk for us next Thursday, weather permitting.Sorry for any inconvenience caused to any walkers who were thinking of coming.

Beautiful sport of rhythmic gymnastics! My girl is 5 now and is very happy to do this kind of sports. The club she is in now has a few groups, some for professional sport and some for the girls, that just wants to be gorgeus, to have a nice walk and be healthy. Atmosphere is very friendly! It is based in the center of Limassol - Gimnasio Katholikis (from Makarius avenue, on the trafic lights of Debenhams, turn down to the sea side and you will see that school on your right handside). Call our club trainer 96 849 276, there are still a few places left in our group. Coach speaks english, greek and russian.

Hey out there! I'm going to study in Cyprus from this January till June. Recently, I found an interest in acting and I wonder if anyone here knows some good places to talk to? I'd like to attend one beginner's class a week on the side of my studies. Regards, Andreas Bitsch

Yes you guessed it, not really a pill but exercise. In fact walking is recommended by Dr James Brown from the School of Life and Health Services at Aston University to maintain healthy living and improve quality of life. Luckily this 'pill' isn't expensive, in fact its free and a good way to take it is in regular weekly walks with us, the Polis Latchi Walking Group. We are a group of people who live in this area and get together each Thursday to explore the beautiful scenic villages around where we live. This walk is mainly flat starting from Latchi, a circular route firstly through the back roads towards Polis. Turning down into the Polis campsite through the avenue of fragrant eucalyptus trees to the beach area where we turn onto the coastal path that will lead us back to Latchi Marina area. Beautiful views of the sea and the marina await you so why don't you join us on Thursday.Stay on afterwards for drink/lunch at a venue in the Latchi Marina area and socialise with the other walkers.POLIS/LATCHI WALKING GROUP INVITE YOU THURSDAY 11 DECEMBER 2014 LATCHI-POLIS CIRCULAR WALK (2 HRS)Time: 09.15 for 09.30 startStart from: Latchi Car Park (opposite Molos Restaurant front entrance)Please wear strong trainers/walking boots and bring drinking water with you.Caveat: Walking at your own risk.Further information contact Maria Tel 99476801

Hi, has anyone been racing in Nicosia lately? We've never been but have heard it's a fun day out. I'm aware it's nothing like English racing. Is it still free entry? If not, how much? Anyone enjoyed themselves? Many thanks for any information. I've tried the website but it just gives you race meets, times etc.
