Denied access to my property because of French Covid rules0 Replies
Hi All, first posting here. I just wanted to ask opinion as I cannot believe the position we find ourselves in. We own a small apartment in Haut Savoie and EDF want to change the gas meter. They have advised us that they are going to get entry and change it even if we are not there. As this is not classified as essential travel we cannot be present when they rip our our kitchen units to replace the meter. My question is this, surely it is a breach of human rights to refuse access to something that you own? Denying my entry into France is effectively preventing me from supervising work and protecting my property??What say you?
