Hi I wonder if anyone can tell me an average cost per square metre to construct a new house. Our plan is to design a basic four bedroom home on constructable land in 01 and need a little guidance on cost initially. Thanks

A lot depends on the style and complexity, but I have seen guidelines of between 1200 and 2000 euros per sq metre

Hi,

using reasonably economical building materials / techniques the material cost of building an average traditional villa is around 830 euros per m² depending on the amount of terrassing work / type of foundations required.

A reasonably priced artisan will probably build it for around 1400 - 1600 euros + vat per m² keys in hand.
