Hello I am coming to Chamonix at the end of the month and have been searching the internet for suitable walks, or groups that myself and a friend could join for one or two walks. Maybe 3-6 hours walking, We are experienced walkers and would love to take in the beautiful views, thought not good at navigating. Is there anyone out there in that region who would know of a group we could contact ? I think hiring a guide for just the two of us would prove costly. Thank you for any tips anyone could offer. Caz

Hi all, if you live in the tarentaise and need french lessons, I'm keen to get a small group together. Contact me if you are interested! In the mean time, can you give me a list of topics you'd find useful? Even if you don't need french lessons, I'd be keen to know what sort of things are essential for brits living in france e.g. How to make whipped cream, or negotiating your season pass, or discussing the finer points of the Priorité à Droite rule! Suggestions please! firstname.lastname@example.org
