Hello, My husband and I met in Geneva 2 years ago, and last year we quit the rat race and moved to a ski resort! We now offer chalet accommodation in nearly 40 properties across the resort of La Tzoumaz both through our website 4vallees4saisons.com and through Interhome. We would like to make it easier for people based in Geneva to have great ski trips, so we are thinking of creating a weekly bulletin with a "clearance list" of our empty chalets that we would make available for weekend reservations at a reasonable price. Just fill in the sign-up box on the right hand side of the page. http://4vallees4saisons.com/chalet/weekend-ski-verbier-4-valleys-chalet/ Let us know if this would interest you, and we'll set it up! For more about La Tzoumaz and its connections to Verbier's massive 4 Valleys ski area, see the "4vallees4saisons.com" website, blog, or facebook page. Hope to see you on the slopes this winter! Percy Kirkman 4vallees4saisons.com P.S. We still have some great chalets and apartments available for Christmas week: mention Glocals and we'll give you a nice discount!

Hi there, I am originally from Zurich but used to live in the UK for several years. It's been a while that I have been living here in Geneva now and missing the joyful english conversation and humor ! Therfore, I am looking for someone (f. prefered) to discusse everything and nothing .. even the waether ! I shall not hide that I would like to improve my english that way or at least stablise .. but, I prefer sitting in a cafe an make conversation, writing emails, chatting on the phone.. then simply booking a course and sitting bored in a class room... I am 32 yrs of age, stable in working and social life .. well, hope someone is out there .. let's make conversation cheerio
We had a wedding list with travel agent Delta Voyages in Geneva only to discover that the list was rubbish and their holiday planning services are terrible. We really couldn't have made a worse choice. Having gone through months of suffering a rude agent making plans that were nothing like what we had asked for and refusing to change the bookings to places we actually wanted to go (so that she could maximise her comission) we got some of our money back. Now we are looking for a transparent, professional holiday planner to sort out what's left of our honeymoon. Any suggestions of a comapny that will actually do what I ask?
Hi, we have just relocated from the UK this year and are struggling to find a good youth football team for our 8 year old to train with this year. They all seem to be full. He is a talented wee player and will be a great asset for any club willing to take him on. Happy to travel anywhere in or around geneva for a good opportunity. Thanks.

Hi, I'm looking to buy a gift certificate for a sailboat rental on Lake Geneva. I see the list of boat rental companies here, but would like to know if anybody has experience with these companies or advice in general. The person I'm giving the certificate to has his permit to sail on the lake...don't know if that matters... Thanks! Ann
