There are a number of organisations that run support programmes for addictions, mental and physical health problems, and victims of violence and abuse. Most of them offer information, educational resources, counselling by trained professionals and peers, and links to additional community services and support.

HIV and Sexual Health Services

HIV & Sexual Health Connect: organisation which provides confidential information, support and counselling for people diagnosed with HIV, AIDS and other sexual health problems.

Melbourne Sexual Health Centre: Victoria’s largest centre for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.

Mental Illness Support

Mind Australia: provides a range of services to assist people with mental illness including outreach services, mentor program and residential rehabilitation.
