Living With Teenagers in Bulgaria

Guidelines for parents and their young adults in Bulgaria...

As a member of the European Union, Bulgaria is seeking to bring the standard of living for all its citizens, including its youth, in line with rest of the EU. Rising levels of youth unemployment, substance abuse, and crime have led the government of Bulgaria to implement policies to combat these challenges. A primary focus is the effort to reduce the number of Bulgarian youth choosing to leave the country in search of better opportunities elsewhere in the European Union.

Programmes and campaigns are launched all over the country with the objective of engaging more youngsters in team activities and volunteer work.
