Beijing Gay, Lesbian, and Allies Discussion (BGLAD)

BGLAD is an organisation of people who wish to support the local gay, lesbian and bisexual community. The group meets regularly for various activities.

Beijing LGBT Center

The Beijing LGBT Center is a not-for-profit organisation that works to promote gay rights and eradicate discrimination against homosexuals in China. The Center hosts regular activities and is run by volunteers.

Pink Space Sexuality Research Centre

The Pink Space Sexuality Centre is a support organisation for sexually marginalised people, including lesbians, bisexual women, heterosexual women married to gay men, women living with HIV, transgendered people, sex workers, single mothers and women with disabilities.

Queer Comrades

Queer Comrades is a non-profit LGBT webcast featuring video information on LGBT life in China. The project records and archives video footage of LGBT events in China for educational purposes for LGBT groups in China and in order to provide coverage of these events to international media.

Tongyu (Common Language)

Tongyu is a community-based support and rights group for lesbians, bisexual women and transgendered people in China. The group helps organise LGBT groups in Beijing as well as the rest of China, and works to promote equal rights for LGBT people, combat discrimination against them and advocate inclusion in society. The Tongyu website has LGBT-related Chinese news in English.

Tongxinglian Qinyou Hui (PFLAG China)

PFLAG China is a group of parents and friends of homosexuals and the transgendered that works at a local level to improve their inclusion and acceptance within Chinese society. The organisation hosts events and provides educational information. PFLAG groups have been established in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Fujian and Hebei. The group is not affiliated with any other PFLAG organisations.
