Alcohol Addiction
Recovering alcoholics can find English-language Alcoholics Anonymous 12-step support meetings every day in Beijing. Most meetings are held at Sun City though a lunchtime meeting is held on Fridays in the Central Business District.

Other Support Groups
Note: due to government regulations, membership to expatriate clubs is limited to holders of foreign passports.
The Australia and New Zealand Association (ANZA) of Beijing is a non-profit group that supports Australians, New Zealanders and other international expats living in Beijing. ANZA hosts social events and activities. The association also raises funds for critically ill children needing medical care in the area.
The International Newcomers' Network (INN) is a non-profit association that helps newcomers adjust to life in Beijing. The group meets on the last Monday of each month.
The La Leche League is an international, non-profit organisation that works to provide information and help to women who wish to breastfeed. Pregnant women intending to breastfeed and women who are currently breastfeeding are encourage to join. Support includes mother-to-mother assistance, help over the phone, monthly meetings, and educational literature.
