Note: Over the past few years EU member states have transitioned away from using E-Forms to a simplified combination of S-Forms and the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). However, some local government staff members still refer to E-Forms when discussing social security and health coverage. This means an understanding of the former system may be useful for newcomers to Cyprus (see below).
