There are no English-language Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings in Picardy and Nord-Pas-de-Calais, however there are French-language meetings available. An English-language meeting does take place in Mons, Belgium, which may be of interest to those living near the border.

Al-Anon and Alateen
Al-Anon meetings provide support to the family, friends and those affected by an alcoholic in their lives. Alateen meetings are specifically for teenagers so affected. There are no English-language Al-Anon or Alateen meetings in Picardy and Nord Pas-de-Calais, however there are French-language meetings.

Missing Children Europe is an umbrella organisation of non-governmental organisations working in 16 member states in the EU (and Switzerland) to prevent child abductions and the sexual exploitation of children, and to facilitate investigations across country borders. The organisation assists parents who may not speak the local language where their child was abducted, or where an investigation is taking place. The organisation also works to support victims.
A hotline is available in France and other European countries for parents to report a missing child. Children who have been abducted, are lost or who have run away can also use the number for help, as can people who wish to report information on a missing child. The hotline is open at all times.

Family Planning and Sexual Health
The French Movement for Family Planning (Le Mouvement Français Pour le Planning Familial - MFPF) offers information regarding contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, abortion, and childbirth in France. The organisation is a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation.
