Monaco Telecom is the single provider of fixed telecommunications and Internet in Monaco. Fixed landlines, mobile telephones, cable television and Internet are all supplied.

Fixed Line Telephones
To subscribe for a personal telephone line the applicant will need to visit the Monaco Telecom store with the following:
- ID card, resident's permit, passport or driving licence
- Bank account details (RIB). The customer must provide a RIB if they do not have Monegasque identity papers
- House contract (bail)
- Full address: Street name and number, block, floor and apartment number. Also the five characters (numbers or letters) in the LOGO square which can generally be found above the front door
Internet
The Internet service is also provided by Monaco Telecom and they are the only Internet provider in the Principality.

Mobile Telephones
Monaco Telecom offers mobile cellular telephone services

To subscribe for a mobile phone account the applicant will need to provide the following:
Monegasque national or resident of Monaco:
- A form of identification: ID card, Monaco resident's card or passport
- Bank account details (RIB)
Not a resident of Monaco:
- A form of identification: ID card, French resident's card or passport
- Bank account details (RIB) from a France- or Monaco-based bank
- Proof of address (less than three months old)
Handy Tips and Numbers
- To call internationally (and to France) from Monaco: dial the exit code (00) followed by country code and number (France 33)
- To call a Monaco number from outside Monaco: dial the exit code (usually 00) then the Monaco country code (377) followed by the eight digit Monaco number
- To call a Monaco from within Monaco: dial the eight digit number which starts with "9"
