US/American Citizens
The US Citizens Service consular section provides passport services, registration of births, information on visas, Federal benefits, notary services, voting information, as well as offering emergency assistance to American citizens in distress. The US Embassy in Berlin offers services to citizens in Berlin, Brandenburg, Sachsen-Anhalt, Sachsen, and Thüringen. Consulates are also located in Bremen, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Leipzig and Munich. The extent of services these provide vary. The US Embassy website has useful information for US residents in Germany about driving licences, driving in Germany, marriage, residence and work permits and also has a survival guide for foreigners in Germany.
The US Consular office in Frankfurt has an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that provides assistance to US citizens on American tax obligations. The office can accept tax payments and tax returns.

UK/British Citizens
The British Embassy in Berlin has up-to-date news on matters relating to German-English relations, as well as much information on trade and investment between Germany and the UK. Consuls are located in Düsseldorf and Munich.

The UK government's GOV.UK website provides information online for Britons considering moving abroad and for those already there. It includes tax, health and education advice as well as a section on what to do when returning to the UK.

Canadian Citizens
The Embassy of Canada to Germany is located in Berlin, and has consular sections in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Munich. The consular offices offer emergency assistance, general information, passport services and notarial services.

Irish Citizens
The Embassy of Ireland in Germany offers services to Irish citizens, including the issuance of passports and documents related to citizenship, birth and marriage. The Embassy also certifies documents and provides assistance in the event of the loss or theft of passports.

Australian Citizens
Services provided for Australian citizens by the consular section of the Australian Embassy in Germany include:

The New Zealand Embassy offers many services to New Zealanders including:
