Registering to Vote in Gibraltar
The register of electors is updated every four years, the latest register was updated in 2015. A form to register to vote is sent by mail to households and should be returned within five days.
In order to register to vote the following criteria apply:
- Be over 18 years old
- Be a British citizen
- Be resident in Gibraltar for the six months preceding the qualifying date to register (1 February 2015)
- Intend to live permanently or definitely in Gibraltar
