Shopping in Hong Kong

Where to find all your retail needs in Hong Kong, from fresh produce to luxury goods...

As one of the world’s busiest shopping hubs, Hong Kong boasts a range of shopping opportunities, from high-end luxury shops selling designer goods to market stalls selling trinkets, pots, pans and more. Most shopping centres and department centres open late in the morning and close around 10pm, while the markets and independent shops open as early as 8am and close, on average, at 6pm.
Big sales tend to take place over Christmas. Most businesses close during the Chinese New Year period, though many department stores will host sales and offer discounted goods after the New Year, with large stores often running extended hours during big sales.
