Postal Codes
Hungarian post codes are made up of four digits:
- The first number indicates the postal region
- The second number indicates the routing area
- The third number is the routing zone
- The fourth number shows the destination
Writing Addresses
Addresses should be written in the bottom right corner of an envelope, beneath the stamp. The envelope should be addressed as follows:
- Recipient’s name
Town/City
Street + house / flat name or number
Post code
Hungary (if sending from outside Hungary)
The correct way to write an address is as follows:
- Person’s name
