English-language Media in India

Information about the local and international English-language publications available in India…

There are literally dozens of English-language newspapers, magazines and broadcasts available across the country. Each major city usually has a main newspaper published in English, while national titles such as The Times of India and The Hindu are also available in English.

Most major publications are available online as well as in print. For a more portable digital version, apps like the Mail Plus App from the UK's Daily Mail Group allow the latest news to be read on a phone or tablet, often for a much less than the cost of a subscription.

Many English-language newspapers and magazines are available in India, including Indian editions of magazines like Vogue, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and Conde Nast Traveller.

Time Out, the international city listings and entertainment magazine, was introduced in India in 2008. Currently there are Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore editions published every two weeks. This is a good resource to find out about the events happening in these cities.
